It is situated in a historical mansion with all of the great details; high ceilings, exposed beams, stone floors and walls, huge windows, and an enormous staircase that is said to be the nicest in Montpellier.
The rooms are large with private bathrooms - they are up under the exposed beams and have hardwood floors. There is modern art all over the place.
The Nid' Oiseau just opened and is filling up fast, there is already quite a bit of chatter about it. Unfortunately I don' think it will be a secret for long!

I have to agree - this place is amazing. When we arrived we were greeted with this amazing smell as we walked up the stairs. When the door opened we were welcomed into an amazing interior - full of interesting artwork, really warm and cozy and the host had a glass of wine and homemade 'tarte' waiting for us! The room was clean and comfortable and the host welcoming but not there all the time so we really felt at home and at ease. He made us a great breakfast and gave us just enough information about the city. I would highly recommend this place for a weekend break!
